Selection Criteria:
- Females who are 25 years of age or older as of May 1 of the award year
- Residents of the 29-town Greater Hartford region
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student, pursuing an Associate degree at one or more of the following branches of the CT State Community College: Asnuntuck Campus, Capital Campus, Manchester Campus, Tunxis Campus
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student, pursuing a Bachelor's degree at one or more of the following: Central Connecticut State University, Goodwin University, Trinity College, University of Connecticut-Hartford Campus, University of Hartford, University of Saint Joseph
- Have completed at least 15 credit hours
- Achieved academic success (2.5 GPA or above)
- Demonstrated financial need
- An interview may be required
Education is a key ingredient to a woman’s path toward self-determination and financial security. The Town and County Club has supported women for its 100 years; since 1999, the scholarship has provided local women with financial assistance to bring them one step closer to achieving their dreams.
