Dr. Piergrossi was an endodontist with a private practice that had multiple Central Connecticut offices. A native of Hartford, he was president of the Hartford Dental Society, lectured at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and enjoyed many years as an interviewer for the University of Connecticut Dental School’s admissions committee. The fund was established in 2000 by his three children, family, and friends.
