The purpose of the American Marketing Association is to promote education and assist in the personal and professional career development of marketing professionals in addition to advancing the science and ethical practice of the marketing discipline. This fund was created in honor of member Anna Klune by the American Marketing Association Connecticut Chapter. Ms. Klune was a marketing executive for a number of companies before opening Too Important to Forget, a special occasion reminder service. She was 33 when she passed away in 1995 following a car accident.
