Greater Hartford Gives Foundation has released its 2025 online annual report, A Century of Giving. A Year to Remember. It reflects both the Foundation’s history and its work to support residents, nonprofits, and communities across Greater Hartford.

During its centennial year, the Foundation launched the Greater Futures Scholarship Fund, committed $6 million to support Greater Hartford artists and arts and cultural organizations,  reinvested $2.9 million in Community Funds to advance resident-led grantmaking in every town it serves, advanced plans for a transformational community development/headquarters project in Hartford’s north side neighborhood, and introduced a new name, logo, and tagline.

At the same time, the Foundation continued to strengthen communities across Greater Hartford by advancing its strategic priorities, including investments in basic needs, civic and resident engagement,  increasing access to stable housing, and services for immigrants and refugees. The Foundation also helped nonprofits navigate uncertainty through its Nonprofit Support Program along with other resources, while closely monitoring policy changes and community partner feedback. Across this work, Greater Hartford Gives remained grounded in its commitment to racial justice and equity, addressing urgent needs while helping build long-term community resilience.

The report also includes a link to the Foundation’s digital centennial timeline, a collection of stories about the powerful network of changemakers—donors, nonprofits, residents, businesses, and policymakers—who are committed to the success and wellbeing of Greater Hartford.
